Mechanical design

Over the years, Tech Group has applied its mechanical engineering know-how in many fields of expertise, including test equipment and assembling and processing machines for different industries:

  • Manufacturing
  • Transport and packing
  • Telecommunications
  • Food
  • Diagnostics and testing

We also have experience in working with electrostatic discharge (ESD) equipment and meeting the relevant requirements. The same is true for radio frequency (RF) shielding technologies as well as x-ray testing devices for small electronic equipment and high density components.

All of our qualified and experienced engineers use the latest version of the SolidWorks CAD software.

Our engineering process is guided by a number of standards and directives, such as the Machinery Safety Directive, ergonomic design principles, etc.

Electrical design

Design, component selection, assembly, testing

In the field of electrical design our experienced electrical engineers use EPLAN software for developing electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and drawing electric circuit diagrams.

We use Eagle software for designing simple printed circuit boards (PCBs).

Our entire design process is based on EN standards in order to ensure compatibility and ease of understanding.

If necessary, we can use AutoCad for electrical drawings and prepare the designs according to different standards, such as ANSI or GOST etc.

Software design

We have a great deal of experience with controllers, operating panels and special purpose controllers and software. We develop programs for our machines.

  • Programmable logic controllers (PLC): Omron, Siemens, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, Bosch-Rexroth, CoDeSys, Allen-Bradley
  • Human machine interface (HMI): Siemens WinCC Flexible and Protool, Omron, Festo, Allen-Bradley, Beijer.
  • Inverters and servo systems: ABB, Omron, Festo, Vacon, Mitsubishi.
  • Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA): Siemens WinCC, Wonderware Intouch, Omron CX-Supervisor.

We also work with different industrial robots (KUKA, ABB etc) and safety systems (Sick, etc).

Process and functionality simulations

We have a wide variety of options for simulating processes in order to gain a better understanding of situations before manufacturing begins and actual costs have been made.

We use the SolidWorks simulation add-on software package based on the Finite Element Method (FEM) for strength calculation.

We use KUKA Sim software for analysing robot solution cycle times and visualising robot solutions in production.

We use Photo View 360 for creating photo-realistic images with the exceptional quality of SolidWorks models.
